The Oregon State Capitol in Salem was designed by Trowbridge & Livingston of New York with Francis Keally, chosen from 123 entries in a national competition. The article names no client. The infobox gives October 1, 1938, which is the dedication date. The text says construction began on December 4, 1936 and finished on June 18, 1938.

The article calls the style Art Deco with stripped classical design. It has a Vermont marble exterior and Montana rose travertine in the lobby and rotunda. As completed it was 164 feet (50 m) wide, 400 feet (122 m) long and 166 feet (51 m) tall.

The first two capitols burned in 1855 and 1935. Wings added in 1977 expanded it. A multi-phase renovation with seismic base isolators is underway, and parts remain closed. It houses the legislature and the governor's offices. The article gives no hours.
