One Manhattan Square is an 80-story residential skyscraper at 225 Cherry Street in the Two Bridges neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It rises 847 feet (258 m) and was completed in 2019. Construction began in 2014, and the tower topped out in September 2017. Extell Development Company developed it, with AAI Architects and Dattner Architects as the architects.
The glass-clad tower holds luxury residences and retail, and its design has been likened to a cheese grater. A separate 13-story building holds affordable housing. The project covers about 939,850 square feet (87,315 m²) and was reported to cost $250 million.
It stands on the former Pathmark grocery site, demolished in 2014. It is far taller than its neighbors; the Manhattan Bridge, the next highest structure, is about 336 feet (102 m). The plan was first proposed at 800 feet and 68 stories, and it drew opposition over neighborhood context and transit capacity.
