One High Line, also known as The XI, stands at 76 Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea, Manhattan, between 17th and 18th Streets. Bjarke Ingels Group was the executive architect, and Woods Bagot was the architect of record. HFZ Capital Group developed it, and Omnibuild built it. Construction began in September 2016. The towers topped out in 2018 and 2019.
Two towers, one of 34 stories and one of 25, reach 404 feet (123 meters). They are clad in travertine and linked by a double-height sky bridge. Their corners twist, and the towers turn toward the west higher up. The article calls the design deconstructivist. The floor area is 895,000 square feet (83,100 square meters).
The program has about 247 condominiums, a 137-room Six Senses hotel and 90,000 square feet of retail space. It stands beside Frank Gehry's IAC Building.
