The Octávio Frias de Oliveira Bridge in São Paulo was conceived by the São Paulo City Hall. Enescil Engenharia e Projetos engineered it, and Valente e Valente Arquitetos did the finishing and contour work. Construction began in 2005 and it opened on May 10, 2008. It cost 233 million reais, including lighting. The article names no style.

It is a cable-stayed bridge with an X-shaped tower, and the article calls it the only bridge in the world with two curved roadways supported by a single pylon. The tower is 138 meters (453 feet) tall. The two roadways cross near the tower base at heights of 12 and 24 meters. There are 144 stay cables, and the total length is 1,600 meters.

Only motor vehicles may use the deck. Thieves stole 6 kilometers of wire in 2011 and 94 searchlights in 2012.
