The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen was commissioned by Carl Jacobsen, who donated his collection to the Danish State and City of Copenhagen on March 8, 1888 on condition they provide a suitable building. Vilhelm Dahlerup designed the original building, which opened on May 1, 1897. Hack Kampmann designed the wing built after Jacobsen's 1899 donation of antiquities, and Henning Larsen made a 1996 infill in a courtyard.
The article calls the Dahlerup wing historicist with a Venetian Renaissance look, the Kampmann wing neoclassical and the Larsen wing minimalist. The facade uses red brick and polished granite columns. The winter garden has mosaic floors and a copper and wrought iron dome. The infobox credits Kampmann with 1906, while the text says Dahlerup designed the winter garden, inaugurated in 1906.
A renovation came in 2006, and the museum recorded 514,608 visitors in 2019. The article gives no dimensions, hours or prices.
