Northampton Cathedral lists A. W. N. Pugin as architect in the infobox. The text says he was commissioned in 1840 for the original chapel, E. W. Pugin designed the 1864 nave extension and Albert Herbert oversaw work from 1948 to 1955. Bishop William Wareing commissioned the chapel, Bishop Francis Amherst the nave and Bishop Leo Parker the 1948 extension.

The infobox gives groundbreaking in 1840 and consecration in 1864, but the text says the chapel was built in 1844 and the nave opened in 1864. The infobox caption dates the east end to 1948 to 1955, while the text says the west end was replaced with a straight west end. The style is Gothic Revival, and it is Grade II listed. It names no materials.

The sanctuary was reordered in 1998 with a new window and cathedra. The article gives no hours.
