Neuer Zollhof at Neuer Zollhof 2-6 in Düsseldorf's harbor district was designed by Frank Gehry and completed in 1998. An earlier competition for the site was won by Zaha Hadid but never commissioned. The article gives no client, construction dates or style.
The complex has three buildings. The outer ones are clad in white plaster and red brick, and the central one in stainless steel, whose facade reflects the materials and shapes of its neighbors. Floor plans and facades curve and lean, so the buildings are likened to leaning towers.
The tallest has 14 stories and is just under 50 meters tall. Gross floor space is 29,000 square meters. The buildings attract tourists.
