NEMO Science Museum stands at Oosterdok 2 in Amsterdam, between Oosterdokseiland and Kattenburg. Renzo Piano designed the building, which has housed the museum since 1997. The article gives no client, construction dates, style or materials, so the year shown is the date the museum moved in.

The museum began in 1923 as the Museum van den Arbeid, opened by the artist Herman Heijenbrock on the Rozengracht. It became NINT in 1954, newMetropolis in 1997, Science Center Nemo in 2000 and NEMO Science Museum in 2016. It has five floors of hands-on exhibits and is described as the largest science center in the Netherlands.

Highlights include a giant domino room, a ball-sorting factory and a science lab. It drew 727,737 visitors in 2023, which the article says makes it the seventh most visited museum in the Netherlands.
