The National Monument to the Forefathers stands at 72 Allerton Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts, facing Plymouth Harbor. Hammatt Billings designed the scheme, first at 150 feet and then smaller before his death in 1874. The cornerstone was laid on August 2, 1859, and the monument was completed in October 1888 and dedicated on August 1, 1889.

It is 81 feet (25 meters) tall and built of solid granite from Hallowell, Maine. William Rimmer made the 1875 plaster model for the figure of Faith, who stands 36 feet tall on an octagonal pedestal. Four seated figures stand for Morality, Law, Education and Liberty, with marble reliefs beneath.

The state of Massachusetts took it over in 2001. The article names no architectural style or cost.
