The Nasher Sculpture Center at 2001 Flora Street in Dallas was designed by Renzo Piano, with Peter Walker of PWP Landscape Architecture designing the garden. The Beck Group built the structure and served as associate architect. Raymond Nasher acquired the site in 1997, and the Nasher Foundation funded the full cost. It opened in 2003. The article names no style.
The building covers 55,000 square feet (5,100 m²) on a 2.4-acre site. A glass roof lights the interior, which has two levels with four ground-level galleries. The garden of about 2 acres terraces down to an open-air theater and hosts rotating exhibitions from the Nasher Collection.
Glare from the Museum Tower, built in 2012, enters through the glass roof and threatens parts of the collection. At James Turrell's request, the chamber housing Tending (Blue) was closed to the public. The Nasher Prize began in 2015. The article gives no hours.
