The Namazgah Mosque in Tirana, near the Albanian parliament, is owned by the Albanian Muslim Community and was inspired by Classical Ottoman architecture. The article names no architect or materials. Its first stone was laid in 1992, construction was launched in 2015, and it opened on October 10, 2024.
It has four minarets, each 164 feet (50 m) tall, and one central dome 98 feet (30 m) high. The site covers 110,000 square feet (10,000 m²). The mosque holds 8,000 worshippers inside and 2,000 outside, and the article calls it the largest in the Balkans, excluding East Thrace.
Construction cost 30 million euros. The infobox says Turkey's Presidency of Religious Affairs funded it, while the text says that body paid only partly. The first floor holds a cultural center, and the article gives no visiting arrangements.
