The Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle was designed by Frank O. Gehry for Paul Allen, the Microsoft co-founder. It was founded in 2000 as the Experience Music Project, and the Science Fiction Museum opened on June 18, 2004. The article names no style and gives no construction years. It was renamed Museum of Pop Culture in November 2016 and rebranded MOPOP in 2025.

The building is sheet metal, similar to Gehry's Guggenheim Bilbao and Walt Disney Concert Hall, with much of the material exposed inside. The exterior is gold, silver, deep red, blue and a shimmering purple haze. It covers 140,000 square feet (13,000 m²) on a 35,000-square-foot (3,300 m²) footprint, and the Sky Church concert venue holds up to 800.

Reviews split. Forbes listed it among the world's 10 ugliest buildings, while another source called it a fitting backdrop for Hendrix memorabilia. The article calls its finances mixed.
