The Museo Nazionale Romano is an archaeological museum spread across several Rome sites. Its Baths of Diocletian seat occupies a 16th-century charterhouse. The article first credits Michelangelo with the cloister, begun in 1565, then says he likely gave only the layout and his pupil Giacomo del Duca did most of the architecture.

Palazzo Massimo alle Terme was built from 1883 to 1887 for Prince Massimiliano Massimo, to house the Jesuit Roman College. Camillo Pistrucci was the architect, and the text calls it Neo-Renaissance. The state bought it in 1981, and restoration ran from 1983 to 1998.

Palazzo Altemps opened as a museum in 1997, and the article credits Melozzo da Forlì with the original 15th-century design. Crypta Balbi opened in 2001, and its basement is open only on guided tours. The article gives no ticket details.
