Moynihan Train Hall occupies the Farley Building in Manhattan. McKim, Mead & White designed the Beaux-Arts Farley Building, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the conversion. The State of New York owns it, and Amtrak and the Long Island Rail Road operate there. Groundbreaking for phase 1 was on October 18, 2010. The hall opened to the public on January 1, 2021, after a $1.6 billion renovation.

A glass skylight 92 feet high covers a central atrium. The concourse is 31,000 square feet, with a 12-foot four-faced clock at its center. The hall reaches 17 of Penn Station's 21 tracks. Artworks include Kehinde Wiley's Go, Stan Douglas's Penn Station's Half Century and Elmgreen & Dragset's The Hive.

It is named for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. The Moynihan Connector to the High Line opened on June 22, 2023.
