The Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Leipzig, Germany, commemorates the 1813 Battle of Leipzig. Bruno Schmitz designed it. The Association of German Patriots raised money through donations and a lottery, and the city gave the site. It was inaugurated on October 18, 1913.

The monument is 299 feet (91 meters) tall, on a base 407 feet (124 meters) square, and is built of concrete faced with granite. A battle relief 62 feet (19 meters) high shows Archangel Michael. Twelve granite warrior statues, each 43 feet (13 meters) tall, stand around the dome. It avoids classicist elements, drawing on ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian forms, with Art Nouveau sculpture.

In the crypt, sixteen warrior statues guard eight death masks. The Hall of Fame holds four figures of German virtues, and its dome carries 324 equestrian statues. More than 500 steps lead to an observation platform with views over the city.
