The Mineirão is a stadium in the Pampulha region of Belo Horizonte, on Avenida Antônio Abrahão Caram. Eduardo Mendes Guimarães Júnior and Caspar Garreto were the architects, Arthur Eugênio Jermann the structural engineer and Gil César Moreira de Abreu the construction director. The State of Minas Gerais owns it, and the University of Minas Gerais provided the land. The article names no style.

Groundbreaking was in 1959, construction ran from 1960 to 1965 and it opened on September 5, 1965. It was renovated from 2011 to 2013. The structure is a pseudo-ellipse with axes of 275 and 217 meters, built with steel bars welded on site and concrete.

After the renovation it seats 66,658 and has 98 executive suites. The pitch is 105 by 68 meters, and the outdoor patio hosts concerts. The article gives no transit details.
