The Millennium Bridge is a steel suspension footbridge across the Thames in London, linking Bankside with the City. Arup engineered it, and the 1996 competition-winning "blade of light" concept came from Arup, Foster + Partners and the sculptor Anthony Caro. The article names no single lead architect or style. Bridge House Estates, a charitable trust overseen by the City of London Corporation, maintains it.

Main works began on April 28, 1999. The bridge opened on June 10, 2000, then closed because of lateral sway, and reopened on February 22, 2002 after 37 viscous fluid dampers and 52 tuned mass dampers were added. It is 325 meters (1,066 feet) long, with a longest span of 144 meters, a 4-meter aluminium deck and two river piers.

Only pedestrians may cross. A short inclined lift stands at the north end, replaced in 2021 by a platform lift.
