The Menin Gate in Ypres was designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield as a triumphal arch in 1921. The Imperial War Graves Commission, now the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, was the client. The infobox gives only the unveiling date, July 24, 1927, and neither source gives construction dates.

The article names no style or materials and describes a triumphal arch with a barrel-vaulted passage. It gives no dimensions. The infobox lists 54,896 people commemorated, while the text says the Hall of Memory has 54,395 names.

It closed in early 2023 for restoration, which finished in spring 2025, and it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023. It is a memorial to missing Commonwealth soldiers of the Ypres Salient, and traffic passes through the arch. The Last Post ceremony is held every evening at 8 p.m.
