M.D. Anderson Hall is the home of the Rice School of Architecture, off the main academic quadrangle at Rice University in Houston. Staub & Rather designed it in 1947, in consultation with William Ward Watkin, the school's chairman. James Stirling and Michael Wilford expanded it in 1981 as enrollment grew.

At the meeting of the old and new wings are the Farish Gallery, the Jury Room and the Bridge. The gallery doubles as a jury room and lecture space, and the Bridge is used for informal reviews and pin-ups. Besides studios, the building has fabrication shops and a computer lab with classrooms.

Kwong Von Glinow, a Chicago studio, renovated 3,775 square feet of the hall with Sharp Architecture as architect of record. It added a welcome center, a student forum with two tiers of circular seating, and a faculty lounge, and it replaced a brick wall with glass.
