The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver at 1485 Delgany Street was designed by David Adjaye of Adjaye Associates, and it was his first museum commission. The museum was founded in 1996 by Sue Cannon and volunteers and spent seven years in a renovated fish market in Sakura Square. Mark Falcone and Ellen Bruss donated the Platte Valley land in 2003. The search considered 47 architects and narrowed them to six. The new building opened in October 2007. The article names no style or materials.

The 27,000-square-foot (2,500 m²) building has five galleries, education spaces, a shop, a library and a rooftop cafe. Hidden skylights bring in natural light, and large windows face the city streets. The article calls it environmentally sustainable.

It has no permanent collection, and shows rotate every two to four months. The article gives no hours or admission.
