The Matrimandir is a spherical meditation structure in Auroville, Tamil Nadu. Roger Anger and Mirra Alfassa, known as The Mother, are credited as architects. The foundation stone was laid on February 21, 1971. The infobox gives completion as February 2008, while the text says the golden sphere was finished in May 2008. The article names no client and no formal style beyond the sphere.

The sphere is 23.5 meters (77 feet) tall and sits among twelve petal-like gardens. It has a stainless steel structure with a gold-plated finish, and golden discs cover the geodesic dome. Four pillars set to the compass points hold up the inner chamber. Inside is a large, optically precise glass globe. The pillars were concreted on November 17, 1973, the day Alfassa died.

The Inner Chamber opened in 1994. The Matrimandir and its gardens are open to the public by appointment.
