Masjid Jamae in Singapore was established in 1826 by the Chulias, Indian Muslim migrants. The infobox names Ansar Saib as founder, but the text says tradition credits him and his origins are unknown. The article names no architect. The present structure was completed between 1830 and 1835. The infobox and text call the style Eclectic, blending Indo-Saracenic and Neoclassical elements.
Doric columns support the main prayer hall roof, green glazed tiles and Tuscan columns line the ancillary hall walls, and the window grilles are Chinese in design. Two minarets, each with seven levels and an onion dome, date to the late 1880s and were originally smaller and cylindrical.
The mosque was gazetted a national monument on November 19, 1974. Management passed to the Muslim and Hindu Endowments Board in 1917, then to MUIS after 1965. A restoration finished in 2024. It is an active Sunni mosque. The article gives no hours.
