Marselisborg Palace in Aarhus was designed by Hack Kampmann, with L. Christian Diedrichsen designing the Palace Park. The infobox lists Aarhus City Council as client and Charles Ambt as engineer. The text calls it a gift from the people of Denmark to the royal family, funded by individual contributions, on land given by Aarhus Municipality. The infobox and text agree on construction from 1899 to 1902.

The park uses a traditional English landscape style. The article does not state the palace's style, materials or dimensions. Christian X and Alexandrine began using it as a summer residence, and Frederik IX gave it to Queen Margrethe II in 1967. It remains Danish state property for future monarchs.

The park and gardens are open to the public when the royal family is not in residence. The palace is never open to the public. The article gives no other hours.
