Marrakesh Stadium sits about 7 miles (11 km) north of the city center, near the Menara airport. Gregotti Associati designed it, and the article names no individual architect, client or owner. The project was launched in September 2003 and opened on January 5, 2011, after about seven years and three months of construction. The article gives no cost, style or structural materials beyond the grass surface.

Capacity is 45,240 spectators. The stadium is reported to be the first in the world to be both rectangular and fitted with a running track. It has sixteen access doors and a grand entrance.

Marrakesh also has a railway station, and the airport is about 9 miles (14 km) away. The article gives no dimensions, hours or ticket details.
