The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, known as MARCO, stands at Zuazua and Jardón streets in the Centro district, next to the Macroplaza. Ricardo Legorreta designed it, and the article calls the style minimalist and post-modern. It opened in 1991. The article names no owner and gives no construction dates or materials.

The building covers 16,000 square meters, with 5,000 square meters of exhibition space in 11 gallery halls, lit by a mix of natural and artificial light. It has a sculpture garden courtyard, a Central Patio with a water mirror fountain, an auditorium, a shop and a restaurant. Outside stands La Paloma, a 4-ton bronze dove by Juan Soriano, 18 feet (5.5 m) high.

The collection centers on contemporary Latin American art. Past shows included Frida Kahlo, Gabriel Orozco, Isamu Noguchi and Henry Moore. The article gives no hours or admission.
