The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Managua was designed by the Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta. Cardinal Miguel Obando y Bravo founded it in 1991, and it belongs to the Archdiocese of Managua. The infobox gives the style as eclectic, Romanesque and Arabic. The article gives no materials or dimensions. Construction began around August 1991.

It replaced the Old Cathedral, damaged in the 1972 earthquake. The new cathedral was completed in August 1993 and consecrated on September 4, 1993. Its cost is estimated at USD 4.5 million, with part of it helped by Tom Monaghan, owner of Domino's Pizza. Its many cupolas gave it the nickname La Chichona.

The design and cost drew controversy. On July 31, 2020, a Molotov cocktail fire damaged an image of Sangre de Cristo. The article gives no hours.
