The Maison de Verre, or Maison Dalsace, on Rue Saint-Guillaume in Paris was built from 1928 to 1932 for Dr. Jean Dalsace, whose house included a ground-floor medical suite. The infobox lists Pierre Chareau and Bernard Bijvoet, and the text credits Louis Dalbet as metalworker. The bottom three floors of an older building were demolished and rebuilt beneath a retained top-floor tenant, so the infobox's three floors may not count that floor.
It is early modern work in steel frame, glass block, glass, perforated metal and rubberized tiles, with bare steel beams. Sliding, folding and rotating screens, an overhead trolley and a retracting stair fill the interior, and a rotating screen hid the private stair from patients.
It hosted a mid-1930s salon for Marxist and Surrealist figures. Robert Rubin bought it in 2006 and restored it. It is now the Rubin family residence, with a limited number of tours.
