The Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca in Bologna was designed by Carlo Francesco Dotti, with his son Giovanni Giacomo building the lateral external tribunes from his father's plans. The infobox lists several more architects. The article names no client. The infobox gives 1194 to 1765, while the text says a church began in 1193 and the present church was constructed in 1723, with no completion date.

The article calls the style Baroque and names no materials. It mentions stucco work, statues by Angelo Piò and paintings by Guido Reni, Donato Creti and Guercino. The 666-arch portico runs 2.4 miles (3.8 km) and was built from 1674 to 1793. The sanctuary stands about 984 feet (300 m) above the city plain.

The portico was inscribed as part of the UNESCO Porticoes of Bologna in 2021. It is a minor basilica and pilgrimage site. The article gives no hours.
