Maastoren stands on the bank of the Nieuwe Maas in Rotterdam's Kop van Zuid. Dam & Partners Architecten designed it with Odile Decq Benoit Cornette, and OTH did the interior. OVG was the developer. Later owners include SEB Asset Management, NorthStar and, since 2018, a joint venture led by FOM Real Estate. Construction began in October 2006, finished in November 2009, and it officially opened on May 28, 2010. The article names no style.

Its architectural height is 164.75 m, with 44 floors above ground and two below, and 69,000 square meters of floor area. The facade combines concrete elements, dimension stone, aluminum panels and glass.

Jetties guard against ship collisions, and a water taxi dock serves it. Seasonal thermal energy storage handles heating and cooling. Besix received €67 million for construction.
