Lyon-Saint-Exupéry TGV station was designed by Santiago Calatrava. It sits about 20 kilometers east of Lyon and is attached to the airport. It cost 750 million francs and opened on July 3, 1994, alongside the high-speed line to Saint-Marcel-lès-Valence. The article gives no client, construction dates or style.

Six tracks run in a cutting. Two outer platforms are each 500 meters long. A passenger concourse 300 meters long spans above the tracks, and the two central tracks have no platforms, letting trains pass at 300 kilometers an hour. The structure is mainly concrete and steel.

Travelators run in the concourse, and a footbridge with a travelator links to the airport.
