Little Island is a public park on Pier 55 in the Hudson River, off Manhattan's west side. Heatherwick Studio designed it, with Signe Nielsen as landscape architect and Arup as structural engineer. Barry Diller commissioned it, and his foundation with Diane von Furstenberg largely funded it. Plans were announced in November 2014, construction began in April 2018, and it opened on May 21, 2021. The final cost was about $260 million. The article names no style.

The park covers 2.4 acres on 132 precast concrete tulip-shaped pots, which rise 15 to 62 feet above the water. It holds 35 tree species, three lawns and an 687-seat amphitheater. It can hold about 1,000 people at once.

Lawsuits by the City Club of New York delayed construction. It is open daily from 6 a.m.
