Lichtenstein Castle at Honau in Baden-Württemberg was designed by Carl Alexander Heideloff, with Johann Georg Rupp managing construction. Count Wilhelm von Urach, later a duke, bought the estate in 1837, though the article does not call him the client. Construction began in 1840, and the castle was completed in 1842.

The article calls the style Gothic Revival and gives no materials or dimensions. The castle stands at an elevation of 2,680 feet (817 m). It replaced a medieval castle that was destroyed twice. A new castle built in 1390 was dismantled in 1802, and the present one was rebuilt on the site from 1840 to 1842.

The castle was damaged in World War II and restored in 1980, 1998 and 2002. It is privately owned by the Dukes of Urach, and Duke Wilhelm Albert von Urach is the current tenant. The article gives no visiting hours or ticket details.
