La Seine Musicale stands on Île Seguin, an island in the Seine between Boulogne-Billancourt and Sèvres, west of Paris. Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines designed the first complex, and Jean Nouvel became lead coordinating architect in 2009. It opened on April 22, 2017, with a concert by the Insula orchestra. The article gives no owner, construction start or cost, and calls the style high-tech.

A steel superstructure carries reinforced concrete floors. An elevated egg-shaped theater sits in the middle, beside the modular Grande Seine concert hall. A roof garden and a curved solar panel array that moves with the sun cover the building, and the fourth floor has an all-round view.

The Patrick-Devedjian Auditorium seats 1,150, and the Grande Seine holds up to 6,000. It also has rehearsal studios, seminar rooms and restaurants. The article gives no hours or ticket details.
