DR Koncerthuset at Emil Holms Kanal 20 in Ørestad North, Copenhagen, was designed by Jean Nouvel for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. Work began in February 2003, and it was inaugurated on January 17, 2009 by the Queen of Denmark. The article gives no style. It reports a cost of almost US$300 million as of 2007, then the most expensive concert hall built.

The building has 25,000 square meters of surface, a 4,000 square meter cable-net facade and a 500 square meter glass roof. The main hall seats 1,800 and has wooden cladding. It contains four halls, three recording studios with variable acoustics and an interior street with shops.

The organ, by J. L. van den Heuvel, has 91 voices and about 6,000 pipes. It won the Wallpaper Best New Public House award in 2010.
