Kokosing Hall is the home of the School of the Built Environment at Bowling Green State University. It was dedicated on March 27, 2023, and opened for instruction that January. Groundbreaking came in June 2021, and the project cost $10.4 million.
SHP designed the 22,900-square-foot addition to the Architectural and Environmental Design Building, which the firm had also designed. Lathrop was the general contractor and KLH Engineers handled engineering. Kokosing Inc. gave the lead gift, and the trustees approved the name in March 2022.
Inside are a materials lab, digital labs and a 6,700-square-foot Innovation Lab prepared for a 10-ton crane hoist. The building brings the architecture and construction management programs under one roof.
