The Culture and Congress Centre Lucerne was designed by Jean Nouvel. The concert hall opened on August 18, 1998, and the full complex was inaugurated in March 2000, with the organ installed in August 2000. The article gives no construction dates, address, client, style or materials.

The roof measures 100 by 100 meters. The building holds a concert hall, an art museum, conference facilities and restaurants. It was designed with attention to acoustics, and its mechanical organ follows the French-Romantic tradition.

It is the central venue for the annual Lucerne Festival. The concert hall opened first, and the rest of the complex followed about a year and a half later. The Contemporary style tag is an assumption based on the architect and the date.
