The Khatu Shyam Temple stands in the town of Khatu in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Khatu Shyam, believed to be Barbarika from the Mahabharata. Legend dates the first temple to 1027 and says it was built by a local ruler, Roop Singh Chauhan, after an idol was unearthed at Shyam Kund.

The present building is made of white Makrana marble in a traditional Rajasthani style. The date of its construction is not stated.

Millions of devotees visit each year. The main festival is the Falgun Mela, held in February and March. Pilgrims on the Nishaan Yatra walk about 11 miles (17 kilometers) from Reengus to the temple carrying flags. A white flag carried on a 94-mile (152-kilometer) walk from Surajgarh is hoisted atop the temple during the festival.
