Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center in Astana was designed by Foster and Partners, with Peter Ridley and Filo Russo as partners in charge. Buro Happold was structural engineer, Vector Foiltec supplied the climate shell and Sembol built it. The infobox lists Sembol Construction as owner, and Aldar Properties was a development partner. Construction began in December 2006, and it opened on July 5, 2010, at a cost of $400 million. The article calls the style neo-futurist.

The tent is ETFE cushions on a cable network hung from a central spire. Its roof reaches 300 feet (90 m), or 490 feet with the spire, over an elliptical base of 200 by 195 meters. Floor area is 100,000 square meters.

Inside are an urban-scale park, shops, a boating river, minigolf and an indoor beach resort. A climate system keeps the main space between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. The article gives no hours.
