Kashveti Church of St. George stands at 9 Rustaveli Avenue, across from the Parliament building in central Tbilisi. Leopold Bilfeldt designed it, basing it on the medieval Samtavisi Cathedral, and N. Agladze contributed the ornate elements. The infobox lists the style as Georgian Cross-Dome, though the text names none. The article gives the material as stone and no dimensions.

Georgian nobility and bourgeoisie sponsored construction, which ran from 1904 to 1910. An earlier brick church on the site had been built in 1753 at the request of the Amilakhvari family and was later damaged.

Lado Gudiashvili painted the frescoes in 1947. It belongs to the Georgian Orthodox Church, and the heritage listing is dated October 1, 2007 in the infobox and October 11 in the registry entry.
