The Karen Demirchyan Complex in Yerevan was designed by A. Tarkhanian, S. Khachikian, G. Poghosian and G. Musheghian. The Government of Armenia was the client. The infobox gives an opening in 1983, but the text says it closed after a 1985 fire and had a second opening on October 31, 2008. The renovation cost is US$47.7 million in the infobox and US$42 million in the text.

The article describes the exterior as a large bird opening its wings, and the architects won the USSR State Prize in 1987. It names no materials. The main arena seats 5,266, or 6,274 with the rotating stand, and the concert hall seats 1,032.

The government sold the complex in 2005 for 5.7 million dollars, and ownership passed to the Ministry of Defense in 2014 because of the owners' debts. It hosts sports events, concerts, conferences and exhibitions. The article gives no hours.
