The John Paul II Bridge crosses the Martwa Wisła, or Dead Vistula, in Gdańsk, Poland. It connects the Northern Port of Gdańsk with the Tricity Ring Road. Krzysztof Wąchalski designed it. Construction ran from August 2, 1999, to October 15, 2001, and the bridge opened on November 9, 2001. It was first called the Third Millennium Bridge.

It is a cable-stayed road bridge with an inverted-Y pylon and a semi-fan cable arrangement. The structure is composite steel and reinforced concrete. The total length is 1,247 feet (380 meters), the longest of its three spans is 755 feet (230 meters), and the width is 67 feet (20.3 meters) with four lanes. The pylon is 328 feet (99.9 meters) tall.

Builders erected it without scaffolding, and crews barged components down the Vistula. The load limit is 50 tons. The cost was about 150 million zloty.
