Janaki Mandir in Janakpurdham is a Hindu temple dedicated to Sita, with an attached wedding mandapa where her marriage is believed to have taken place. Queen Vrisha Bhanu of Orchha State built it, and it was completed in 1910. Its cost of about nine lakh gold coins gave it the name Nau Lakha Mandir. The article describes it as Koiri Hindu architecture.

The three-story temple covers 15,930 square feet (1,480 m²) and is built entirely of stone and white marble. Madhubani paintings, colored glass, engravings, lattice windows and turrets decorate it. A golden statue of Sita is said to have been found on the site in 1657.

It is a protected ancient monument of Nepal. The article reports that it partly collapsed in the April 2015 earthquake. Pilgrims visit from Nepal, India and Sri Lanka, especially at Ram Navami and Vivaha Panchami.
