The Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb in Delhi's Mehrauli Archaeological Park has no named architect. The text dates the mosque to about 1528 to 1529, while the infobox gives completion in 1536. Jamali, a Sufi saint and poet, died in 1535 and was buried in the tomb, whose completion the text attributes to Humayun. The infobox calls the style Mughal, and the text calls it a forerunner of Mughal mosque design.
Both use red sandstone with marble embellishments. The two-story mosque has four octagonal corner towers and a five-arch prayer hall, and only the large central arch has a dome. The tomb is 25 feet (7.6 m) square with a flat roof, and its interior is painted red and blue with inlaid tiles carrying Jamali's poems.
The Archaeological Survey of India protects it and bars Friday prayers. The article gives no hours.
