The Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper in Turin was designed by Renzo Piano as the bank's headquarters. It stands on a site bounded by corso Inghilterra, corso Vittorio Emanuele II and via Cavalli. Construction began in 2008 or 2011, which the article gives inconsistently, and it was completed in December 2014. It cost about 235 million euros. Piano calls it a bioclimatic building.
The roof height is 167.25 meters, with 38 floors above ground and six below. Photovoltaic panels cover the southern facade. A rooftop greenhouse and the Piano35 public restaurant top it, and a 364-seat public auditorium hangs from transfer trusses four stories up.
It earned LEED Platinum and was ArchDaily Building of the Year 2016 for offices.
