The Imagine Peace Tower stands on Viðey Island in Kollafjörður Bay, near Reykjavík, Iceland. Yoko Ono commissioned it as a memorial to John Lennon, and it was unveiled on October 9, 2007. The article does not name a designer.

The monument is a white stone wishing well 33 feet (10 meters) wide, with the words Imagine Peace carved in 24 languages. More than one million wishes are buried there. Fifteen searchlights with prisms project a beam that appears to reach at least 13,100 feet (4,000 meters) on clear nights.

The tower runs on geothermal power at about 75 kilowatts and is lit on set dates each year, according to the article.
