The Ibirapuera Auditorium in Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo, was designed by Oscar Niemeyer with collaborators Hélio Pasta and Hélio Penteado. Construction started in 2002 and finished in 2005. The article names no client and no style, but it describes the design as volumetric simplicity.
It is built of reinforced concrete painted white, with a red metal marquee officially called Labareda. The plan is trapezoidal and the section is triangular, covering about 650 square meters. A foyer, an audience area and a stage run in sequence from the exterior to the interior.
The lower floor holds a bar, administration rooms, a music school and dressing rooms. An 18-meter back door opens so people outside can watch concerts. The auditorium hosted the 2008 Latin Grammy Brazilian Field Awards. The article gives no hours.
