The Hunter Henry Center stands at the intersection of Hunter Henry Boulevard and Barr Avenue on the west side of the Mississippi State University campus. Foil Wyatt Architects of Jackson designed it, JESCO of Fulton built it, and it opened in 2002.
Its 41,000 square feet (3,800 square meters) are clad in stainless steel, granite and glass, topped by an 80-foot (24-meter) spire. Inside are offices, a ballroom and meeting rooms. Private gifts paid for it, including a $3 million cornerstone commitment from Hunter and Lila Henry. It was built for the alumni association and foundation.
The College of Architecture, Art and Design lists the center as its home. A December 2023 alumni magazine article says the building was planned to serve as classroom space for the college's architecture students once the alumni division moved out.
