Hotel Gellért in Budapest was designed by Ármin Hegedűs, Artúr Sebestyén and Izidor Sterk. The article does not name the original client, and the BDPST Group bought the closed hotel from Indotek in December 2022. Construction began in April 1911 according to the text, and the infobox and text agree it opened on September 26, 1918.

The article describes a Secessionist exterior with biomorphic elements and cone-shaped towers, and Art Nouveau interiors with a glass cupola and wrought-iron decoration. It names only glass, wrought iron and mosaic decoration as materials. The infobox lists 143 rooms, while the text describes a 176-room original design.

Admiral Horthy used the hotel as headquarters in 1919. A wave pool was added in 1927 and a thermal bath in 1934. It was heavily damaged in 1945 and rebuilt from 1956 to 1960. It closed on December 1, 2021, and Mandarin Oriental is to operate it, with reopening scheduled for 2027.
