The Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona was designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, and the banker Pau Gil paid for the 20th-century buildings. The lead says it was built from 1901 to 1930, while the body says construction began in 1902. The infobox and text call the style Modernisme.

The text calls it the largest complex built in Art Nouveau style. Domènech's plan had 48 buildings, of which 27 were built, and the text gives 12 pavilions in the lead and 26 current buildings in the body. The earlier hospital was built from 1401 to 1450. The site covers 6.74 hectares (16.7 acres).

Restoration began in 2009 at a budget of €100 million, covering 29,517 square meters of built area. It operated as a hospital until 2009 per the lead, though the body says departments moved after 2003. It is now a museum and cultural centre, open to visitors since 2014.
