The Haus der Kunst in Munich was designed by Paul Troost. Adolf Hitler commissioned it as the Haus der deutschen Kunst. It was built from 1933 to 1937, with the foundation stone laid in October 1933. The page has no infobox, so no dates conflict.

The article calls it monumental neoclassical, an example of totalitarian classicism, and names stone as the material. It gives no dimensions. After the war the US Army used it as an officers' mess, and from 1946 it hosted trade shows and exhibitions.

A road tunnel opened in 1972 after the entrance steps were removed. David Chipperfield's renovation plans were presented in 2016, with costs given as about €60 million in one place and €150 million in another. It shows temporary and traveling exhibitions with no permanent collection, and the P1 nightclub has been there since 1983. The article gives no hours.
